The Investments division specializes in the structuring and distribution of both debt and equity securities within primary and secondary markets, in addition to offering financial advisory services. The Fund Management arm is responsible for the acquisition, sale, and custody of securities, alongside the oversight of investment portfolios, collective investment funds, and investment clubs. The Insurance, Pension, and Capitalization segment delivers various protection products, including life, property, and automobile insurance, as well as private retirement schemes and capitalization plans. The Payment Methods unit manages the full cycle of electronic payment transactions, encompassing capturing, transmitting, processing, and financial settlement. Lastly, the Other segment covers a broad spectrum of services. These include credit recovery and consortium management; the development, manufacturing, sale, rental, and integration of digital electronic systems, peripherals, software, components, and computing supplies; the sale of airline tickets; and the provision of lodging and event organization services. Banco do Brasil S.A. was founded in 1808 and its corporate headquarters are located in Brasília, Brazil.
