Winston Score History

The full picture

Brown-Forman is one of the largest American-owned spirits and wine companies in the world. It makes and sells alcoholic beverages, with its most famous product being Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey — one of the best-selling whiskey brands globally. The company also owns other brands like Woodford Reserve bourbon, Herradura tequila, and Finlandia vodka, selling to bars, restaurants, retailers, and consumers across more than 170 countries.

Brown-Forman earns money by producing and selling its branded spirits, collecting revenue each time a bottle moves through distributors to stores or venues. The United States is its largest market, but international sales — especially in Europe and emerging markets — make up a significant portion of revenue. Its main competitive advantage is the Jack Daniel's brand, which has decades of consumer loyalty and strong global recognition. The key risk is that premium spirits demand has softened in several markets recently, and tariffs on American whiskey exports could pressure international sales growth.
