Winston Score History

The full picture

Dynacor Group is a Canadian company that processes gold ore in Peru. It does not mine gold itself — instead, it buys raw ore from small, independent miners and processes it at its own plant to extract and sell refined gold. Its main customers are artisanal and small-scale miners who need a licensed, industrial facility to process their material.

Dynacor earns revenue by buying ore, processing it, and selling the refined gold to international buyers at market prices. Nearly all of its operations are in Peru, making it a small but focused business with a market cap around $300 million. Its competitive edge comes from being one of the few formally licensed processors serving Peru's large artisanal mining sector, which creates a steady supply of ore. The main risk is that gold price swings directly affect its margins, and any regulatory changes in Peru around artisanal mining could disrupt its ore supply.

Revenue accelerating

Dynacor Group grew revenue 90% year-over-year and the growth rate is speeding up. That's the kind of momentum growth investors look for — the question is whether margins can follow.

The Winston Score above measures business quality today. Growth stocks often score lower because they invest in the future rather than maximising current profits. These metrics show what matters most for evaluating that future.
