Winston Score History

The full picture

Fox Corporation owns and operates some of the most-watched television networks in the United States. Its main properties include the Fox broadcast network, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, and Fox Sports. Fox News is the highest-rated cable news network in the US, giving the company a strong and loyal audience base.

Fox makes money primarily by charging cable and satellite companies fees to carry its channels (called affiliate fees) and by selling advertising time to businesses. It also earns revenue from its local TV stations across the country. Fox operates almost entirely within the United States, which makes it more focused than many media rivals but also more exposed to the health of the US advertising market. The biggest growth driver is live sports and news programming, which audiences still watch in real time — making those ad slots especially valuable — while the long-term risk is the ongoing decline of traditional cable TV subscriptions.

The Winston Score above measures business quality today. Growth stocks often score lower because they invest in the future rather than maximising current profits. These metrics show what matters most for evaluating that future.
