Winston Score History

The full picture

Inpex Corporation is a Japanese oil and gas company that finds, drills, and produces crude oil and natural gas from fields around the world. Its most important asset is the Ichthys LNG Project in Australia, one of the largest liquefied natural gas developments in the world, which ships gas mainly to customers in Japan and other parts of Asia. Inpex is Japan's largest oil and gas exploration and production company, and the Japanese government holds a stake in it to help secure the country's energy supply.

Inpex makes money by selling crude oil, natural gas, and LNG under long-term contracts as well as on spot markets. It operates across Australia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and other regions, generating roughly $10–12 billion in annual revenue. Its competitive position rests on long-term supply agreements and government backing, but the company faces significant risk from falling global energy prices and pressure to reduce fossil fuel dependence as countries shift toward cleaner energy sources.
