Winston Score History

The full picture

MasterBrand makes kitchen and bathroom cabinets sold in the United States and Canada. Its brands include Aristokraft, Diamond, Kemper, and Schrock, and it sells to homebuilders, home improvement retailers like Home Depot, and independent dealers. It is one of the largest cabinet manufacturers in North America.

The company earns money by selling cabinets directly to builders and through retail and dealer channels. Nearly all of its revenue comes from North America, and its scale and wide brand portfolio give it some pricing power with suppliers and retailers. However, cabinets are closely tied to housing activity and home renovation spending, so the biggest risk MasterBrand faces is a prolonged slowdown in the housing market, which reduces both new construction and remodeling demand — the two main drivers of cabinet sales.

Growth + cash flow

MasterBrand is a rare growth stock that's already generating positive cash flow while growing at 12%. The Winston Score doesn't fully credit this transition from "burner" to "earner."

The Winston Score above measures business quality today. Growth stocks often score lower because they invest in the future rather than maximising current profits. These metrics show what matters most for evaluating that future.
