Winston Score History

The full picture

NSTS Bancorp is the parent company of North Shore Community Bancorp, a small community bank serving individuals and small businesses in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. It offers basic banking services like checking and savings accounts, home loans, and small business loans. It is a very small regional bank focused entirely on its local community.

The bank makes money primarily from the difference between the interest it charges on loans and the interest it pays on deposits, known as net interest income. With a market cap of roughly $100 million, it operates a limited number of branches in the Chicago metro area and competes against much larger regional and national banks. The main risk facing NSTS is its very thin profitability — the bank is currently operating near breakeven, and rising funding costs or a slowdown in loan demand could push it further into the red.

Growth + cash flow

NSTS Bancorp is a rare growth stock that's already generating positive cash flow while growing at 17%. The Winston Score doesn't fully credit this transition from "burner" to "earner."

The Winston Score above measures business quality today. Growth stocks often score lower because they invest in the future rather than maximising current profits. These metrics show what matters most for evaluating that future.
